"The Anita" is named after one of my favorite people, Anita of Sweet Hope Cookies. Not just because she has raised over $20,000 in the fight against ALS, a disease that took the life of my dear friend, but also because she is an all around great person. "Why is Anita a rectangle?", you may ask. Well, this is exactly what she wanted - a strong walled, straight edged precise rectangle with a sharp cutting edge. Anita loved the idea of being a rectangle as she feels that she is just like her namesake shape for, just like her, what you see is what you get. If you know Anita, you know this to be true. This fun carrot cutter design is by Aime of The Painted Pastry as a set of three Easter cutters that she requested that we make in time for her Easter cookies this year. With winter here, it is time for a cutter for cookies that hang on the edge of cups and mugs! Several months ago, Callye of Sweet Sugar Belle suggested an excellent idea - to make long, thin cutters to cut notches out of cookie dough in order to hang the cookies on the edge of cups and mugs. I worked with her and Lisa The Bearfoot Baker on the size/angle needed and then I designed it to be a 2 sided cutter for 3/8" or 1/2" cutouts. You just choose the size that you need for the thickness of the wall of your cup or mug, flip to the side that you need, cut out your notch and bake up your cookies! Lisa The Bearfoot Baker has kindly provided a photo from a upcoming tutorial that she is doing on this very idea using our cutter. FPC Sugarcraft is a family run business producing sugarcraft moulds, based in Bristol, UK. The majority of our designs are hand sculpted by us in wax relief, with a few designs derived from found items, so hopefully you will not find our designs anywhere else - beware of imitations!

We are pleased to offer you our range of unique high quality silicone moulds, for cupcake and celebration cake decorations and many kinds of craft projects. All of our moulds are designed and manufactured in-house from soft, flexible platinum-cured silicone, ideally suited for moulding sugarpaste decorations.

Other foodstuffs and other modelling materials may be used in our moulds, including wax, soap, Fimo/Sculpey and PMC. The silicone material can withstand relatively high temperatures for short periods (up to 250ºC/480ºF) and possesses inherently good release properties, making demoulding trouble free.

An indication of the product size in shown in all of our product images. The background grid shows squares 1cm x 1cm (approximately 0.4in x 0.4in). Please note that whilst every care is taken to ensure the accuracy of scale in these images, all dimensions should be considered for guidance only.

When my good friend, Lisa of The Bearfoot Baker mentioned that she was doing a pieced flag cookie set and asked about a cutter for the flag stripes, I suggested a wave shape and quickly set to work designing one. Whisked Away Cutters are finely crafted cutters for cookies and fondant, designed by a cookie decorator for cookie decorators. Crafted with rounded corners on the handle for comfort, a reinforced area near the base of the handle and strong walls going down to a fine tapered edge for a precise, clean cut.

** Food safe PLA cutters are HAND WASH ONLY, not dishwasher safe, cannot be used to cut hot cookies and should not be left to soak in hot water. This is an aspect of all food safe PLA cutters. Care must be given to the specialized tapered cutting edge when storing as it can get nicked or damaged if hit with another cutter or sharp object. Proper care will ensure years of use from your Whisked Away Cutters.
