Very charming and inexpensive STAR Flowers, made out of Wafer or Rice Paper. These Flowers (my original idea, please, do not copy it without my permission) add gentle and romantic look to anything you will attach them to.

They are ~ 7/8" - perfect size for decorating cupcakes mini and regular size, a pop cake or any other bite size desserts. They keep their shape and stay intact when you put them on butter cream frosting. Also you can attach them to fondant surface with touch of corn syrup. Isomalt is a sugar substitute that acts like sugar but is more forgiving when you remelt it.

I've done the hard part and cooked the isomalt to the right temperature, so it's ready to be re-melted and used to pour into silicone molds to make gems and other clear decorations for cakes. Each order is 8 ounces of isomalt, which is enough to make about eighty 3/4" x 1/2" jewels.

You'll need a container that can go in and out of the microwave to work with this, like pyrex or a silicone cupcake wrapper. I work with small amounts at a time, so I pre-cook then store the isomalt until I need it, then use it with the silicone holders. Anything you don't use can be stored and re-melted later, so there's very little waste if you're careful.

Isomalt is a sugar substitute, and even though it's technically edible I don't recommend that you eat it. Too much can cause "intestinal distress," shall we say. It's better to use it as a decoration and not eat it at all, so you should treat this as a decoration, not something to eat.

This is the same stuff that you use in the isomalt melting guns they sell now, but it's a lot easier to use it with silicone cupcake holders. They're flexible, and you can work with small amounts at a time so it's easier to control. When it cools you can flex the cupcake holder and remove the leftovers from it to re-use later. If you're not familiar with how isomalt works, you should use something with a handle at first until you figure it out.

You can use it in any silicone mold that's good up to 325 degrees. All of the molds that I sell here work with isomalt.

This comes in a clear color only...You can add food coloring to it to make it the color that you need. Gel color is better than liquids, which can make the isomalt sticky. I'll send it to you in bag with 8 ounces of ready-to-melt pieces, and instructions on how to handle it. I use regular molds and a silpat mat to pour the isomalt on while it's cooling, so you might get some usable gems out of it, too!

****This is NOT an activity for children! The isomalt is VERY hot when melted and pourable, and it can easily burn you. Use only in a clear area where you don't have pets or children nearby, and keep a bowl of cold water nearby in case you need to stick your hand in it if you get some hot isomalt on you. Using gloves and long sleeves is a good idea to prevent spills on your skin. ****

Three .75 oz bottles of Americolor gel color in super red, lemon yellow, and royal blue. Gel colors are great for adding to isomalt, fondant, or gumpaste. They're concentrated and don't take much to give a good color.

These are sealed dropper bottles. I can't accept returns because of food safety issues, so please make sure that you're ordering the correct colors! This group is the primaries, and you can use them to mix to get other colors. Check the other bottles available in the decorating supplies sections if you want the secondary colors or white and ivory.

Two diamond texture mats to imprint a pattern on fondant or buttercream. These mats will help you make straight and even lines that you can then pipe over on buttercream, or imprint onto fondant using a rolling pin.

One mat has larger diamonds, which are about 1" wide at the middle, and the other has smaller diamonds, which are a little over 1/2" at the middle. Each mat is 12" x 6" so that it will cover the entire side of the cake as you're using it to imprint directly onto buttercream.

The mats are made from a flexible plastic and could easily be cut into a smaller shapes if you wanted to.

Each order is one of each mat, 1 larger diamond and 1 smaller diamond. They'll be shipped rolled up in a box to conserve space. Let them rest flat if they're curving when you get them, and they will flatten out after they rest a bit.

This feather mold is great for cake decorating or polymer clay. The silicone is food-safe and can be used for fondant, gumpaste or chocolate. The feather is about 2 1/2" long.

This is a food-safe mold, but it can be used for clay also as long as it isn't used for food as well. It's heat-safe and can be washed in hot water.

These feathers are cute to use on cookies, cupcakes, or as the focal point at the center of a cake tier. The feather has some dimension to it, since the mold was made from a vintage brooch and has a deep curve that emphasizes the elegant shape of the feather.

Each mold is made to order and can usually be shipped the following day after being ordered. If the actual postage costs a lot less than the charged amount, I'll issue a refund for the excess!

Please convo me with any questions!These molds work best with gumpaste or a stiff fondant. Soft fondant won't work in the molds because it will stretch when it's removed and lose the shape and details.
