With making over 9,000 Paint Your Own Cookies a year and have gone through 35 cutters and not finding one that met her needs, Susan of Edna's Daughter Specialty Cookies had a dilemma, so she contacted me to see if we could work together on a design as she has some of our cutters and loved the quality and clean cut. I am happy to say that she now has a cutter that she loves and only 11 days into December she has made 1,800 cookies already and is a happy camper! If you are wondering, she used the 4 3/4" tall x 3 7/8" cutter and if you are curious why she turned to us, well, here is what she needed and now has:

- a PYO design with clean lines for fast flooding
- a strong bottom area that would not snap off when being picked up at the holiday market
- a clean cut so she did not have crumbs floating around in the bag, affecting the overall look

Dip a piece of the Oyumaru in hot water (approx: 80 degree C) for about 3 to 5 minutes. Take the Oyumaru out of the water with a pair of tongs and wipe it dry with a towel. While it is still soft, press the material you wish to mold into the Oyumaru.

If the Oyumaru gets hard while you are working with it, place it back in the water and begin the process again.

Allow Oyumaru to cool down, remove your object and your mold is ready for your clay project. Oyumaru is re-usable.

Note: by the way, if you do not need this material anymore, you can make various 1:12 miniature items with this material

Dip a piece of the Oyumaru in hot water (approx: 80 degree C) for about 3 to 5 minutes. Take the Oyumaru out of the water with a pair of tongs and wipe it dry with a towel. While it is still soft, press the material you wish to mold into the Oyumaru.

If the Oyumaru gets hard while you are working with it, place it back in the water and begin the process again.

Allow Oyumaru to cool down, remove your object and your mold is ready for your clay project. Oyumaru is re-usable.

Note: by the way, if you do not need this material anymore, you can make various 1:12 miniature items with this material
