Well, I said that I love pumpkins! Our family always picks out pumpkins with a bit of character, so this one would happily fit right in on our front doorstep. I have to say that I had great fun designing this pumpkin and hope that you enjoy it as well!

With winter here, it is time for a cutter for cookies that hang on the edge of cups and mugs! Several months ago, Callye of Sweet Sugar Belle suggested an excellent idea - to make long, thin cutters to cut notches out of cookie dough in order to hang the cookies on the edge of cups and mugs. I worked with her and Lisa The Bearfoot Baker on the size/angle needed and then I designed it to be a 2 sided cutter for 3/8" or 1/2" cutouts. You just choose the size that you need for the thickness of the wall of your cup or mug, flip to the side that you need, cut out your notch and bake up your cookies! Lisa The Bearfoot Baker has kindly provided a photo from a upcoming tutorial that she is doing on this very idea using our cutter. Perfect if you need to make lots of clay molds but only need to use each to create few copies. Picks up detail surprisingly well.

Dip a piece of the Oyumaru in hot water (approx: 80 degree C) for about 3 to 5 minutes. Take the Oyumaru out of the water with a pair of tongs and wipe it dry with a towel. While it is still soft, press the material you wish to mold into the Oyumaru.

If the Oyumaru gets hard while you are working with it, place it back in the water and begin the process again.

Allow Oyumaru to cool down, remove your object and your mold is ready for your clay project. Oyumaru is re-usable.

Note: by the way, if you do not need this material anymore, you can make various 1:12 miniature items with this material

Please note - wafer paper is not the same as icing/frosting sheets. It is mostly made up from potato starch and my printed wafer paper being 0.4mm thin (the thickness most commonly used for flowers, cake wraps etc) means that there may be some inconsistencies with the thickness of the paper over each sheet, resulting in some areas being more translucent than others, and you may sometimes notice a slight appearance of some patchiness. It is not a printing error but instead the nature of the delicate wafer paper itself (believe me, I've tried and tested most on the market and it happens to all of them!). It is so fine and some areas will allow light to pass through more than others This is NOT noticeable when backed onto fondant/gumpaste or when made into flower petals etc either. If you are looking for a materials with no imperfections than wafer paper may not be the material for you. I kind of feel it adds to the beautiful vintage vibe and love it just the same, I hope you do too :-))

Wafer paper keeps for around a year when kept in a sealed plastic bag. Keep away from moisture and sunlight.

Care must be given to the specialized tapered cutting edge when storing as it can get nicked or damaged if hit with another cutter or sharp object. Proper care will ensure years of use from your Whisked Away Cutters.

Cutter prices are determined by print time and the amount of PLA used. Cutters with intricate shapes and curves or larger sizes take longer to print and are priced accordingly.

FPC Sugarcraft is a family run business producing sugarcraft moulds, based in Bristol, UK. The majority of our designs are hand sculpted by us in wax relief, with a few designs derived from found items, so hopefully you will not find our designs anywhere else - beware of imitations!

Other foodstuffs and other modelling materials may be used in our moulds, including wax, soap, Fimo/Sculpey and PMC. The silicone material can withstand relatively high temperatures for short periods (up to 250ºC/480ºF) and possesses inherently good release properties, making demoulding trouble free.
