We are happy to bring you this wonderful banner cutter that I worked on with my friend, Callye, based on her beautiful banner design that she kindly offered us to turn into a cutter. There are actually four variations of her beautiful design - this being Banner 2, a taller banner with two variations with one being longer than the other. Please note - wafer paper is not the same as icing/frosting sheets. It is mostly made up from potato starch and my printed wafer paper being 0.4mm thin (the thickness most commonly used for flowers, cake wraps etc) means that there may be some inconsistencies with the thickness of the paper over each sheet, resulting in some areas being more translucent than others, and you may sometimes notice a slight appearance of some patchiness. It is not a printing error but instead the nature of the delicate wafer paper itself (believe me, I've tried and tested most on the market and it happens to all of them!). It is so fine and some areas will allow light to pass through more than others This is not noticeable when backed onto fondant/gumpaste or when made into flower petals etc either. If you are looking for a materials with no imperfections than wafer paper may not be the material for you. I kind of feel it adds to the beautiful vintage vibe and love it just the same, I hope you do too :-))

Wafer paper keeps for around a year when kept in a sealed plastic bag. Keep away from moisture and sunlight.

This adorable Panda cutter was designed by my very talented friend, Aime of The Painted Pastry, as she wanted to make panda cookies for her son's birthday. My thanks to Aime for making this adorable panda cookie example as well as providing the artwork for that Guideline Sketch. You can find more of Aime's delightful work at www.facebook.com/ThePaintedPastry In doing her cutter, I also saw that it could be used for a bear, a tiger, a teddy bear and even a Just Married Car and created Guideline Sketches for a few of those.

Guideline Sketches to be printed are shown under the photo of the cutter. To save them, click on the photo, right click to either "Save Image" or "Copy Image". From there paste into Word or whichever program you like. You can then resize it from there as needed and then print it to either follow along or to place on a KopyKake.

Crafted with rounded corners on the handle for comfort, a reinforced area near the base of the handle and strong walls going down to a fine tapered edge for a precise, clean cut.
