As the spouse of a Navy man of 29 years and someone who ships most of her cookies, I needed an anchor that was sturdy and would not break easily. After a year of working on it, setting it to the side and tweaking it some more, I finally finished it when my friend, Christine of Sugar Cravings, asked me if I had an anchor cutter. It is all done now and Christine kindly provided a cookie example and you can see more of her wonderful work at www.Facebook.com/SugarCravings.
It comes in two sizes in the regular outline cutter and two depths in the imprint version. Please note that you only need one cutter to do the imprint version and that is the imprint cutter. You will not need the regular cutter to combine with it to make the imprint. Prices are largely determined by print time with imprints requiring substantially longer print time which is reflected in the pricing In order to keep the cost down to the customer, we make these a bit more shallow and tailor the depth of the imprints to the depth of the dough thickness used. Please choose from above under for any of the following:
Anchor 1A - This is an imprint cutter and will cut out the dough and create the inner imprint lines for dough rolled at 1/4" thick at the same time and is shown in the top half of the photo. It measures 4" tall. Again, Anchor 1A is an imprint cutter for dough rolled to 1/4" thick.
Anchor 1B - This is an imprint cutter and will cut out the dough and create the inner imprint lines for dough rolled at 3/8" thick at the same time and is shown in the top half of the photo. It measures 4" tall. Again, Anchor 1B is an imprint cutter for dough rolled to 3/8" thick.
Anchor 2A - This is a regular outline cutter that measures 2" tall. This cutter is shown on the bottom of the photo and does not have imprint lines.
Anchor 2B - This is a regular outline cutter that measures 3" tall. This cutter is shown on the bottom of the photo and does not have imprint lines.
Anchor 2C - This is a regular outline cutter that measures 3 1/2" tall. This cutter is shown on the bottom of the photo and does not have imprint lines.
Anchor 2D - This is a regular outline cutter that measures 4" tall. This cutter is shown on the bottom of the photo and does not have imprint lines.
I am including a Guideline Sketch should anyone wish to it as a guide for the non-imprint regular cutter. You will find it under the photos of the cutter. To save it, click on the photo, right click to either "Save Image" or "Copy Image". From there paste into Word or whichever program you like. You can then resize it from there as needed and then print it to either follow along or to place on a KopyKake.

** Food safe PLA cutters are HAND WASH ONLY, not dishwasher safe, cannot be used to cut hot and should not be left to soak in hot water. This is an aspect of all food safe PLA cutters. Care must be given to the specialized tapered cutting edge when storing as it can get nicked or damaged if hit with another cutter or sharp object. Proper care will ensure years of use from your Whisked Away Cutters.

Cutter prices are determined by print time and the amount of PLA used. Cutters with intricate shapes and curves or larger sizes take longer to print and are priced accordingly.
