Wafer paper edible images are used to decorate cookies, chocolates or other treats. These cute wafer papers are easy to apply to dried royal icing (icing that dries hard, sometimes called cookie icing), chocolate or fondant. You just prepare your cookie with icing and let dry, “glue” the wafer paper to the cookie with corn syrup or piping gel and if you like, decorate with sprinkles or an icing border.

Wafer paper edible images are printed on wafer paper with non-toxic, edible ink and will not alter the taste of your baked good. They are best used on a white surface as colors will show through the image. They can be used on royal icing, chocolate or fondant, again, white is recommended. You can use your wafer paper edible images on homemade or store purchased items. The surface must be flat and the royal icing needs to be dry before applying. To apply the wafer paper images on softer icings such as buttercream, to top cupcakes for example, apply image to fondant first and then apply the fondant to the item.

This listing is for my Hot Air Balloon Cutter. I had such fun designing the balloon area and incorporated the feel of a heart should anyone want to decorate it in that manner along with a bit of room for little faces if desired. As well, I am including the sizes for our cloud design from another listing which can be seen above as well in the photos.

It comes in two sizes in the regular outline cutter and two depths in the imprint version. Prices are largely determined by print time with imprints requiring substantially longer print time which is reflected in the pricing In order to keep the cost down to the customer, we make these a bit more shallow and tailor the depth of the imprints to the depth of the dough thickness used. Awareness Ribbon comes in two options, a regular cutter or an imprint cutter. The sizes are shown below:

Imprint Cutter - this cutter will cut out your cookie and imprint the design at the same time.
Imprint Cutter A: 4" tall cutter - this will imprint dough rolled at 1/4" thick
Imprint Cutter B: 4" tall cutter - this will imprint dough rolled at 3/8" thick

I will also be posting the Guideline Sketches shortly should anyone wish to use them as a guide. You will find them under the photos of the cutter. To save it, click on the photo, right click to either "Save Image" or "Copy Image". From there paste into Word or whichever program you like. You can then resize it from there as needed and place it on a KopyKake or alongside your cookie as you pipe.

Whisked Away Cutters are finely crafted cutters for cookies and fondant, designed by a cookie decorator for cookie decorators. Crafted with rounded corners on the handle for comfort, a reinforced area near the base of the handle and strong walls going down to a fine tapered edge for a precise, clean cut. ** Food safe PLA cutters are HAND WASH ONLY, not dishwasher safe, cannot be used to cut hot and should not be left to soak in hot water. This is an aspect of all food safe PLA cutters. Care must be given to the specialized tapered cutting edge when storing as it can get nicked or damaged if hit with another cutter or sharp object. Proper care will ensure years of use from your Whisked Away Cutters.

Cutter prices are determined by print time and the amount of PLA used. Cutters with intricate shapes and curves or larger sizes take longer to print and are priced accordingly.
